Samuel Ang

I was lucky to have been a member of Dr. Diwan’s Lab from 2014-2015 during my undergraduate education at Washington University in St. Louis where I double majored in biology and psychology. My time in this lab gave me a strong research foundation, which has greatly helped me as I pursue my own career in medicine. Since leaving St. Louis, I went on to receive my MD at the NYU School of Medicine as the J. Ira and Nikki Harris Merit Scholarship recipient. Upon finishing medical school in 2018, I decided to stay on at NYU and completed my prelim year in internal medicine. Currently, I am an Chief Resident in Anesthesiology at the Grossman School of Medicine at with research interests in clinical pain medicine. Outside of medicine, I enjoy long-distance running, playing with my dog, and exploring all that New York City has to offer.
